Dove Elton

Dove Elton is an inspiring example of what hard work, courage, and ambition can achieve at a young age. Whether she is leading within her school community, performing in large-scale school productions, pushing herself on the road or track, or aiming for excellence in the classroom, Dove approaches every challenge with purpose and heart.

Her journey as a leader began early. From the Junior School Council to the Middle School Council and the Sports Council, Dove has consistently stepped forward to contribute, and use her voice for positive change.

Athletically, Dove’s story is one of growth and rising potential. Before discovering her passion for running, Dove earned selection for the Rodney U16 Netball Representative team, reflecting her natural drive and competitive spirit. As she shifted her focus to endurance running, her progress accelerated rapidly. She started by regularly placing and then winning local Auckland 5km and 10km road races. She then placed 3rd female overall and 1st in her age at the Auckland Marathon 11km Traverse with an impressive 43m36. Ending the year she ran a very fast 10m33s for 3km and placed 2nd in the NZ Secondary Schools road race.

In the classroom, Dove’s commitment shines just as brightly. She maintains consistent Excellence grades in English, Mathematics and Science. These performances have earned her 11 diligence awards. Her academic record reflects the same resilience and dedication she brings to sport: a willingness to work, to improve, and to pursue her best in everything she does.

As an athlete, Dove has remarkable potential that is still unfolding. Her story is still in its early chapters, but the themes are already clear - leadership, perseverance, and an unwavering belief in growth. She is a student-athlete who dreams boldly, works tirelessly, and inspires others through her example.
